Hey everyone, we really hope you have enjoyed CampIndie! As always, we would love to see your projects, so feel free to email them to us, or post them on the flickr group! We also further challenge you to continue to recycle as much as possible and find new and exciting ways to do this through art, like today's inspiration. Your final challenge is to PAINT A GREENER WORLD.
Here are the specifics: you must paint on a recycled material. We did ours on fused plastic bags(tute below). and you must paint something that is part of your vision for a greener planet. We are really excited to see what you all come up with!
Plastic Bag Fusing Tutorial:
supplies: Plastic bags, a sheet of parchment paper, iron, scissors.
1. cut the bottom seam of your bags off.
also cut off the handles.
stack about 3 bags ontop of each other and lay the sheet of parchment paper ontop. Run you iron over them slowly until they start to fuse together, making sure you get the edges. peel off your parchment paper when you are done. :)
